The Government of Canada is committed to having a sustained dialogue with Canadian youth about issues that matter most to them. It is extremely important to our Government that young Canadians become engaged citizens who are active participants in the democratic process. We want youth to have the ability to participate in a program that will build and shape the Canada of tomorrow.
As part of our Government’s engagement strategy, individual MPs are establishing local Youth Councils in their ridings. I am extremely proud to be working with a group of bright and passionate young Londoners who will serve on the London North Centre Youth Council.

I look forward to listening to youth perspectives on these important issues!
